lisod jud na i judge. it will all depend on the person's martial spirit...
pero I'd place my bet on the Hapkido guy.. kay once he is able to get himself close and out of range of the taekwondo guy's deadly kicks, mas effective na ang hapkido.
just my two cents worth...
Hapkido sad ko..pero naa sad purohan makadaug ang Taekwondo kun maka-una siya ug patid ug bone-breaking kicks to the ribs or other vital parts..
any style has its own weakness it only depends to the practitioner.
Hapkido includes a vast variety of arm an leg joint locks, weapon techniques, throw, kick, hit, and nerve pressure techniques. Hapkido is no martial sport but a martial art, which is outstandingly suitable for self-defense.

For me I Like Hapkido compared to Tae Kwon Do. As for the thread starters question....All Martial Arts in this world are very effective. It depends on the individual how he/she absorbs & mature in his/her Art.
the one who makes a solid contact first usually wins. everybody trains himself how to hit someone else but do not really train himself how to get hit.
depende kung kinsay mas maayo ug strategy, remeber how david defeated goliath.
yep.. depends on the practitioner... whoever gets lucky. hehe
sa matimingan lang... TA-E kwondo, hehehehehehe... kataw-anan lang basahon....
everything relies on chance..pero mas dako jud ug probability ang hapkido in terms of techniques alone..
