Pro: Sufficient Energy supply

Con: Hazardous. Naa man unta safety measures and SOP if magkaproblema.
But unlike the Japanese who will sacrifice their lives just to save the plant from blowing up,
ang mga Pinoy nuke operators mag-una2x ug sibat. hehe

As I have heard, the complex is located near a fault line. As per inspection, some of the equipments and safety measures are sub-standard due to the usual defeciencies of our Bidding and Procurement System. Then most of the controls and instrumentations are outdated since it was designed and constructed during the 1980's.

I'm not sure also, but there is a law that prohibits the possession of nuclear or radioactive materials/weapons within our country.

pros:
*more capable providing power than the usual, conventional powersources---coal, deisel, thermal, hyro etc

cons:
*risky, exposing the community to nuclear disasters (i'm sure we are more inform w/ regard to the current
japan crisis) and we are known raba to be good and prepared for handling calamity and disasters.
Imagine dapat expert na unta tah sa maritime disasters kay daghan tah cases pero wala gihapon
nakat-unan balik2x man gani same mistakes and problems..how much more to this?

kurakuton ra pud.


Bottomline:
We don't have the necessary resources---money, discipline and political integrity
It's just like handing some matches or lighter to kids!

Pero na construct ghapon and sige bayad sa utang (bago lang naimpas sa 2007 30 years after completion nga wala ka function) pero wala ma pusli sa pinas
