New software, hardware system--thesis. Need suggestions

This is my first thread so far.

Ok, I am now taking a thesis project and I need your suggestions on what new system to create. The system should have the following general specifications:
1. Should contain 60% software and 40% hardware (basta mas dominant ang software kaysa hardware, pero both hardware and software jud xa) More on technology.
2. Should be complex.
3. Should meet the needs of the society, Philippines, schools, organizations, etc, today.
4. May contain web application. Pero not necessarily.

The system may have any, some, or all of the following components for the thesis:
1. Image processing
2. Sensing matter e.g. rfid, bar code, etc
3. neural network or artificial intelligence
4. Mobile phone
5. Cloud computing.

8. Game-like can also be.
9. Something not so static and with practical application
10. A combination of hardware and software. The hardware side is something that is to be created and not to be bought. The software is application / program.

The following maybe needed for your suggestions:
1. We are 3 in a group.
2. Project creation time is 9 months (starting april to december)
3. Being an undergad / graduate / post-grad doesn't matter. Secret!
4. We are computer engineering students.

mas better tali TS if ma-narrow down pa nimo imo requirements k lapad ra kau. better pod tali if makabalo unsa ang kurso ani para within context lng pod ang suggestions. like undergrad ba ni na thesis sa compsci/comp-eng/IT? or postgrad thesis ni? also, when you say hardware, do you mean kailangan wala pa ng-exist na hardware commercially or ok lang if available na ang hardware commercially nya gamiton lang ninyo into something non-existent technologically? i think mas sensible ang mga suggestions tali if mas daghan information. =)

And as a side note lng ba. Kung wala ka kabantay TS, lahi ra pagka pangutana nmu ang question. Ang dating sa imo pangutana kay mura kag naningil ug utang. Like, dugay nami wa ka bayad nmu and kelangan na nmu ang kwarta. Nang under estimate pajd ka sa mga tao dri by saying, "I know some of you dili kasabot sa akong gipasabot.". Hilas ra kaayo ka paminawn.

--> Thank you. . But I guess it is not so complex as i thought. My first idea in mind is: we can use mysql dump function / mysql administrators backup or such to migrate the database to another system. However, reference data from transmitter should be the same with the receiver and the problem lies when it doesn't. Thanks for the suggestion.
