Hi sa mga Clinical Instructors (CIs) out there!

I'm applying for a CI position sa usa ka nursing school and ask ta ko what are the most common questions raised during these kinds of interviews?

I just found your thread. Count me in. I'm a CI here in our province. Based on my experience, the applicant must possessed a MAN degree, board rating 80 up, high academic grades in nursing (cum laude is an advantage).

Screening is conducted through a panel interview. It generally entails a lot of questions usually based on situations how to handle students in class; concepts on team teaching and teaching methodology; they'll ask you about your hospital experiences; the reason why you choose academics aside from working in hospitals; familiarizing the school's vision and mission in terms of application and what extent. They will ask you for a lecture demo on any topic to see how they grasp it and understand. After that they'll ask questions about the topic. Just make sure to answer it with rationalization and analyze it with critical thinking.

Today, there's a looming decline of nursing enrollment due to the retrogression issues. Nursing schools forced to terminate CIs with poor performance and still on masteral studies.
