There isn't really a significant performance increase at that much RAM though. Most ppl that use lots of RAM are using these for workstations but they don't even utilize more than 12GB usually. I'd much rather get a dual socket mobo for a 2nd cpu like the SR-2, that way i can see a performance difference than have 48gb of RAM which see virtually no performance increase...
