Default How to Prevent Being a Clutch Driver

    Hi,

I just learned that I'm a clutch driver. I think I'm gonna spend more than 7k (labor & material) again for my bad driving habit.

I didn't know this until today. I also read a bit on "Engine Brake".

Can you guys please share what's the best thing to do going uphill, downhill and on traffic? Unsay better in these situations? Handbreak or footbreak?

    Thanks.

clutch driver... cge patong ang left foot sa clutch even full release na ang clutch, pero not knowing while driving na depress diay gamay ang clutch, mao paspas ma hilis ang clutch lining ug dali ma guba ang clutch pressure.

for me the less you use your clutch the better...
avoid traffic areas and traffic hours...
when going uphill prevent from changing gears often...
when going downhill just choose a right gear and apply breaks lightly...
kanang magkipaglumba mo with other cars also and when you loose your temper ...relax driving lang...he he he

just place your foot on the clutch pedal when needed.

One thing you will note is that some drivers keep their foot on the clutch even if they are not moving. Do remember that when you do this, pressure is being placed on your clutch and if you do this frequently, you may find yourself burning the clutch lining and may eventually need to replace it. For the record, replacing your clutch is not cheap. Normally, it takes some years before the clutch parts of your vehicle are replaced.

When you are driving take it easy. Do not be in a hurry to gear up. This is one thing that aspiring drivers presume wrong. When you are immobile or are perhaps waiting for the front car to move, rest your foot on the car flooring. Haste makes waste.
