    Default DIET .... everything about it !


    Lets discuss about diet :

    - misconceptions
    - healthy diet
    - poor diet
    - proper diet
    - ignorance of diet
    - diet for kids
    - diet for athletes
    - diet for pregnant women
    - fad diets
    - balanced diet
    - etc

    I see a lot of people talking about DIETS but majority in the wrong notion and information man gud . I am not in any way connected to any medical community , field , licensed or authorized spokeperson or whatsoever .

    The lovely and beautiful FOOD GUIDE PYRAMID : INterpret it as a pyramid where as you have to consume more from the bottom and working up in lesser intake .

    For gaining lean muscle and losing fat, the two ways that work for me are carb cycling and bulk/cut cycles. There's a complex theory behind it but the gist of it is that we are not built to stay on extreme diets for more than a few days. High protein low carbs also work for me but the suffering is too much

    To start with , the word DIET is really an ABUSED word , murag word na CHEF pod per se .

    Anyways ... DIET is meant as the FOOD INTAKE itself unlike sa mga misconceptions na mag DIET ko kay ganahan ko mo daot . They meant DIET as kana gamay ra kaunon , dili mo kaon , etc . That is very wrong and not the definition of DIET .

    DIha gyud nato maingon na ang METABOLIC RATES sa individual varies . Anyways ... high protein , low carbs mga diet prescription man na sa mga masakiton . If you are healthy and into regular / healthy diet ... still recommende dnimo is the classic BALANCE DIET which has the guideline of the FOOD GUIDE PYRAMID .

    How long have you been on that regimen of diet ?

    Ok lang ba ? How was the result ?

    Mga 3 years na . I had to create a meal plan when I started working out . It's ok , it helps me build up muscles despite I don't eat a lot even after work-out . Healthy gihapon , never got sick since I started this . Wala gani ko nagpa flu shot (or H1N1 shot) ever since .

    I highly recommend Centrum Performance (not the regular Centrum) after breakfast ... dako jud nakatabang nako . I know nga naay recent study nga "useless" daw ang mga multivitamins pills , pero ilaha pud na kay wa raba ko nasakit since I started taking multivitamins .

    MULTIVITAMINS are good SUPPLEMENTAL TOOLS when we miss something of our regular diet of the essential vitamins and minerals yet it is still best to acquire these from natural sources .

    Anyways .... who among here are into FAD DIETS ?

    ok lang ba vitamin c ra ako e take daily?
    nya normal nko sud an ky chicken ug baboy
    pero while nag duty ko sigi ko inom tubig to the point na permi ko pangihi (day job ako work)
    nya mag gym pud ko
    ang problema lang ky more often than not ky once a week ko mu inom ug beer...

    Drinking alcohol in moderation is ok as ong as wala kay problem sa liver afaik . Vit C supplement is very good kay para na sa immune system pod nato . As longa s diet nimo varies and contents , wala man jud problema like maski mag baboy ka taga adlaw for your protein needs basta naay vegetables and carbs pod ka in moderation or kung unsay calorie needs nimo and daily allowance .
