hello,

i need help. i want to create something big. the size is 29.5 x 79.5 inches.
sort of like a poster.

what do i use? i plan to use photoshop. will this work?
what size do i work in? should i work at 29x79 inches in photoshop?
RGB or CYMK? i need to print it.

hehehe pwede man ps imong gamiton pero i think it will take time to load up the image. if you are about to make one, it would be best to use a vector software. ^_____^

yeah use photoshop make sure ur RAM is higher like 1 giga
thn make the size 30 x 80...why? for bleeding
thn make it CMYK not RGB (after ur done, flatten it thn convert it to CMYK)
its best to use in RGB first so that whn u design u can access the filters.
thn after doin it in photoshop, foe me i use corel draw (coz its faster to process than macro freehand)
thn make a square (no fill juz outline) size is 29.5 x 79.5 thn center it with ur design (i forgot the shortcut for that)
then make a cutting guide (i think u alredy know wat it looks like).

if ur processing it on film, color separate it with ur specified PPD
ordinary printer?juz print it
if the color is not the same with ur photoshop thn change the setting in corel (color manangement)

ok got it. first i make the size 30x90 inches or something bigger than the actual size for bleeding.... i work on RGB first, then later when im done, i convert it to CYMK

i save the image as JPG then import in CorelDraw?

i think il will be just making the file, the printing will be done by somebody else...

bay, last... what if ang images nako gamiton kay ang size 1024x768 pixels ra? then i resize it to lets say... 25 inches okay ra na? ang output okay ra? or ma-guba ang image? 30x80 inches ra ba ang print...

right now, i am working on 7.5 x 20 inches, (kay gamay man aku RAM) but i will be converting the image size to 30 x 80 inches maybe in CorelDraw...
maybe the fonts will get blurred or something... il try later today.. will post the results... thanks

Search lang sa google kung asa na.
Pwede ka muprint ug large images using raster images.
