    Default Cannot view my workgroup computers... pls. help


    good day mga bossing!!! anybody who can help me how to view my workgroup computers...

    Mao ni iyang error... before maka view ko sa my workgroup computers pero karon dili na.

    Maybe you have a firewall which block this?

    bro try daw ug type sa Run \\Computer Name kung makita ba ang Computer na imo giaccess kung dili maaccess ang computer set up the network or try to check each computer the same ba ila workgroup

    yahh bisag ang firewall ana pod bro try echeck each computer na lang bro. echeck ang firewall, workgroupug ang anti virus firewall ana bro

    mga bossing na check naman nako ilang mga firewall naka deactivate nman pati pud ilang workgroup pariha raman mshome, nahibugngan nako ani before maka access ko sa tanan bsan asa nga pc nikalit lng dili na maka access... any other idea mga bossing...

    bro, i-check imong IP address kung parehas ba og subnet tanan og imong DNS kung nag gamit ka dpat pareho tanan. workgroup name double check try pud i-change into another name kung dili ghapon mag work.

    hmmm, you are using xp home edition right? possible also there are many computers on the network already accessing simultaneously to that computer you want to browse.

    sometimes the message shall be like this : "No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept." limit includes all transports and resource sharing protocols combined. the limit is the number of simultaneous sessions from other computers the system is permitted to host. limit does not apply to the use of administrative tools that attach from a remote computer. this limitation applies only to inbound connections to Windows XP. when you use Windows XP, unlimited outbound connections can be established to other systems.

    any file, print, named pipe, or mail slot session that does not have any activity is automatically disconnected after the AutoDisconnect time has expired; the default for the AutoDisconnect time is 15 minutes.when the session is disconnected, one of the ten connections becomes available so that another user can connect to the windows xp system. therefore, lowering the AutoDisconnect time can help to reduce some of the problems that users may encounter with the ten-connection limit or the five-connection limit on a system that is not used heavily for server purposes.

    xp home = 5 max. connection limitation (simultaneously)
    xp pro = 10 max.
    windows 98 = unlimited

    again, this is only a possibility due to i have encountered your problem before and this was the cause. bow.

    mga bossing naka automatic ip address og DNS ko mga bosssing gamit ko og router, before maka access ko sa uban mga pc pero karon dili na bisan asa nila dili nako ka access sa mga folder. any other idea mga bossing.

    try to ping their IP addresses kung dili ma ping siguro naa sa network connection nimo ang problema. To ping Start ->RUN - > type cmd enter den on the c:\ping ip address to check for Ip address since naka DHCP ka check sa pc adto sa command prompt by typing cmd on the run den type ipconfig i lista ang ip address...

    another thing also try to check imo DHCP server settings tingali naa problema pod didto hope it helps
