MANILA, Philippines – An 80-year-old retired government employee claimed on Monday the P27,587,136 jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw Sunday night.
PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the lucky winner bought two lotto tickets and the winning ticket had the number combination 22-4-3-6-32-30, which represents his birthday and that of his wife.
“The winner was a consistent lotto player since his retirement in 1995,” he said.
A source said that the couple bought the ticket last Sunday after attending Mass at the Fuente Osmeña Circle in Cebu City.
“The couple want to give portion of their prize to the church and to help their relatives and save the balance in the bank,” the source said.
