Storyline :

Valerie (Seyfried) is a beautiful young woman torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider, Peter (Fernandez), but her parents have arranged for her to marry the wealthy Henry (Irons). Unwilling to lose each other, Valerie and Peter are planning to run away together when they learn that Valerie's older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village. For years, the people have maintained an uneasy truce with the beast, offering the creature a monthly animal sacrifice. But under a blood red moon, the wolf has upped the stakes by taking a human life. Hungry for revenge, the people call on famed werewolf hunter, Father Solomon (Oldman), to help them kill the wolf. But Solomon's arrival brings unintended consequences as he warns that the wolf, who takes human form by day, could be any one of them. As the death toll rises with each moon, Valerie begins to suspect that the werewolf could be someone she loves. As panic grips the town, Valerie discovers that she has a unique connection to the beast--one that inexorably draws them together, making her both suspect...and bait.

I've always found Amanda Seyfried simple-looking yet very alluring.

now, i find that very hard to believe...actually, a lot of guys will find that hard to believe....

Hmmm.. I'd give it a 2/5... It was good but not amazingly good. Hehehe.

well i dont have a high expectations from this movie...
especially upon reading the negative reviews, i thought that this will be another twilight kind of story just like how i am number four disappointed me..
BUT i was surprisingly entertained and enjoying the movie...
well it got me hooked till the end maybe because i was building an interest throughout the movie on knowing the true identity of the big bad wolf
i was so amazed how they made the classic tale into something new and putting it with a big twist in the end...
its also very interesting that they somehow mixed some of elements where the classic tale was known like...
* the dialogue between valerie and her grandmother the grandmother what big eyes, big ears, big teeth you have thingy...
* how the hunter (peter) saved red riding hood
* they stuffed stones inside the wolf's tummy so that it will sink in the water...
Honestly i enjoyed this movie more than I AM NUMBER FOUR
and nope! i didnt feel any twilightish in this movie.
