Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban was on the receiving end of vicious tweets over her views on the supposed casting of Azkals player Phil Younghusband in an independent film.
Her recent tweets against the popular footballer's showbiz plans were received negatively by devout Azkals fans.
Angelica tweeted on Thursday, March 3: "si phil may indie film... Akala ko ba football player syalahat na lang artista na
sad..."
"masama. Sana lang mag focus muna silang lahat sa football. Para sa pinas kasi yun. #justsayin' after na lang ng tourny mag artista"
"Sila rooney (English footballer Wayne Rooney) ba gumagawa ng movie? I dont think somukhang busy lang sila kkpractice para laging manalo
But Angelica who is known to be very vocal with her opinions only wanted to point out that Phil should focus more on practicing for the Azkals' next matches. She stressed that Phil should not enter show business if he is indeed serious about pursuing a career in football and winning games for the country.
"Ang kitid ng utak ng iba. D ko sinasabing ang gusto ko eh ako lang ang artista. Kung gusto pala nya mag artista, sana d na sya nag football."

Angelica's Twitter page was bombarded mostly with hate messages, most notedly those from the Twitter username "anilmorales" who made derogatory and abusive comments against the actress. According to Angelica's tweets, she and boyfriend Derek Ramsay were set to finish the heated Twitter exchange in court. Angelica claimed to have identified the Twitter user as Boni Tambossi Morales from Cebu.
"Nagbibigay po kami ng saya sa inyo. Hindi namin kayo binabastos. Wag nyo kaming murahin at bastusin. May twitter kami para abot kamay kami," Angelica said in a succeeding tweet. "Hindi para gawin nyong way para mang bastos ng kapwa tao. Magddemanda ako para maging lesson sa mga tao na walang respeto. Hindi lang ako ang artista na binabastos ng mga haters. Kung d nila kaya lumaban,ako lalaban ako. Para sa aming lahat," Angelica concluded.

for me, Angelica has a point naman. If you wanted to be successful in your field dapat you should NOT serve two masters not unless if super jud ka ka maau. Look what happened to Mansueto "Onyok" Velasco, Jr. mas ni focus pa man sa showbiz kaysa sa boxing tua nawala sya when he can be more successful sa larangan ng Sports.
Luoy sab ang mga artista if mo voice out sa ilang opinion kay awayun, tao baya ghapon na sila, they are entitled to their own opinion also. I just hope people will be more responsible in using Social Networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, etc... ang uban kay himuon man ug outlet sa ilang pagiging mal-edukado ug pagka rebelde.
