you can make a meal plan for the whole week.
first of all. how many are you in the household?

honestly the breakfast is the easiest since most pinoy just buy processed or canned or frozen foods like hotdog, tapa, bacon etc. bread, cereals or rice.

as for lunch and dinner. just make sure that you buy ingredients that can be easily used with another recipe. ex. cooking fried chicken at lunch on monday and cooking chicken adobo on wednesday's dinner..

you can try doing the grocery good for 1 week and you can figure out there what to cook for your family for the week. if you see nice fish in the grocery maybe you could buy 2 kilos worth, 1 kilo for pritong isda on tuesday and paksiw on saturday. rotation lang ka. try to keep your menu simple and cheap. maybe a special menu on the weekends.

ex. menu plan: Monday: Breakfast/ egg, ham rice or bread. Lunch/ fried porkchop and mung bean soup with rice. Dinner/ tinolang manok and rice served with fresh fruits.

Tuesday: Breakfast/ sausage, fried rice or bread. Lunch/ pinakbet and fried fish. Dinner/ chicken pork adobo.

Wed: Breakfast/ pancakes, scarmbled eggs and bacon. Lunch/ menudo and rice. Dinner/ Sweet and sour fish

Thurs: Breakfast/ meat loaf, sardines and rice. Lunch/ sinigang and rice. Dinner/ fried chicken and cream of mushroom soup.

Fri: Breakfast/ tocino egg and rice. Lunch/ chopsuey and pork steak. Dinner/ humba and rice.

you get the idea... another way to do budgeting kung gamay lang mangaon sa lunch why not try cooking a single meal for both lunch and dinner. initon nalang pag gabii. you save money and time.

@tonioyantao: Thanks for the input. Sige, I'll try to follow your menu although there are a couple of dishes there that I really don't know how to cook.hehe

Ang mangaon kay ako, my husband then akong 1 year old daughter.

well now it's a start for you to learn how to cook. practice lang gud im sure your family will love you for it.

as for the recipe. most pinoy dishes you can find online. and i bet you will also find some dishes that you want to try. just make sure lang na in a day you have some vegetable dish pud para healthy hehehe.
if you find it quite hard to prepare 3 meals in a day. why not try cooking one large meal for the family and mao nalang na kanon ninyo for the day. microwave nalang later para init.
