    Default Another Scandal.....KLIK JUD DAJON!

No, it is not the scandal u have in mind, there is no naked people involving here, but naked truth.

No round asses to be shown but a round clarity what does this "generals" shown.

No peeping-like videos, only pure ...... NEWS!

Bitaw, kinsa'y naay mga relatives dire nga mga sundalo? Pila ilang mga sweldo? ASk them kuno kung satisfied ba cla sa nadawat nila? Hisgutanan sa mga supplies nila, like bala, boots, nindut nga duyan, ug bsan sa pagkaon o ingon man sa mga gamit panginahanglanon.

Kini man gud naay nibuto nga isyu sa AFP, nagpahimo ug resort sa Boracay taliwala sa kalisod sa nasud ug ingon man usab sa kalisod sa panginahanglanon sa atong mga sundalo.

Ilahang rason kay nindut kaayo...char as if!

I know this matter is neither too serious nor too funny, but it breaks our budget...

    for the link...

LAWMAKERS yesterday said they would seek an explanation from the Armed Forces and the Department of National Defense on the secret construction of a military resort on Boracay Island, revealed in an exclusive Inquirer report, in the midst of a government call for belt-tightening and claims of lack of essential needs for troops in the battlefield.

House Minority Leader Francis Escudero said AFP Chief of Staff General Efren Abu should explain whether the private individuals who purportedly gave money for the project in return received favors.

Parañaque Representative Roilo Golez, chair of the House committee on national defense, said he would question Abu today at a hearing on the planned military modernization to find out about the resort project's specifics and if Defense Secretary Avelino Cruz knew about it.

Anakpawis party-list Representative Rafael Mariano asked: "What's next? A body spa salon?"

    Scale model

An Inquirer reporter visited the resort on May 13, a month after its "soft opening" following the completion of 10 rooms. When completed, the resort would consist of two three-story buildings with 30 air-conditioned rooms each, a bean-shaped swimming pool and a separate rest house for senior officers, according to a scale model of the complex.

Lieutenant General Emmanuel Teodosio, AFP Central Command chief, said the hotel was planned to boost troop morale and meet the rest and recreational needs of ordinary soldiers and their families.

AFP spokespersons said the project was being financed by donations from businessmen, veterans and civilians. The donors included the Kaibigan ng mga Kawal sa Kapulunan (KKK), a group formed by businessmen.

Little was known about the project in Camp Aguinaldo, according to sources there interviewed by the Inquirer.

"What's wrong with having a donated world-class military resort in Boracay island?" AFP Deputy Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Edilberto Adan asked an Inquirer reporter in Zamboanga City.

He said the project was conceptualized and initiated by Teodosio and organized by the KKK. He said the final structure would depend on donations.

The resort is one of the two projects launched after Abu took over the Armed Forces last October that have sparked criticism of the military hierarchy. The other was the renovation of sidewalks in Camp Aguinaldo, the AFP's general headquarters in Quezon City.

    Disheartening

"It is very disheartening to see that it's not just the administration but also the AFP leadership that is insensitive to the suffering of our countrymen," Escudero said.

"If indeed they were able to raise money and did not use government funds, they should have used it for soldiers' benefits and not in this way of giving pleasure for their own selves," he said.

"The AFP's Boracay resort will surely further widen the cracks within the already fractious military -- among officers themselves, and between these armchair generals and the rank-and-file in the battlefield," said Mariano, a member of the House committee on national defense.

He said soldiers had already complained about Abu's plans to put decorative tiles along Camp Aguinaldo's sidewalk, saying it was "unnecessary and extravagant."

"There is nothing new with dubious and graft-ridden projects in the AFP. This is the most outstanding grievance of the Oakwood mutineers," Mariano said, referring to the failed coup in Makati City two years ago.

    Unconscionable luxury

Representative Vincent Garcia (NPC, Davao City), vice chair of the House committee on national defense, said the resort was an "unconscionable luxury."

Garcia and Representative Aurelio Umali (Lakas, Nueva Ecija) said it was not right to put up "such monument of luxury" while the government still owed Filipino war veterans P36 billion in benefits and soldiers in Mindanao do not get their rice subsidy.

"It's saddening that while the government has been earnestly calling for austere use of public funds, the armed forces is undertaking a luxury project that will benefit only their officers. The Armed Forces should instead embark on projects to uplift the conditions of our soldiers and will promote our national security," Garcia said.

the AFP through the Central Command spokesperson had already answered these. ACCORDING TO THEM the AFP never spent a single centavo for such construction. the resort was funded by a foundation, the KKK or Kaibigan ng mga Kawal sa Kapuloan, a Cebu-based group of businessmen and retired AFP personnel.

i dont know whos telling the truth though.

Ok na man nang recreation. But recreation is a luxury our government doesnt have. naay mga sundalo buslot na ug boots. Naay mga sundalo gisi na ug uniform, karaan na ug pusil, nipis na ug helmet ug kulang pa ang ration sa pagkaon.

wa man kahay kwarta nganong mag usik usik man hinoon sama aning mansion.

Makapuyo kaha ang mga ordinaryong sundalo diha. Ang mo benefit ani kadto ra mang mga opisyal nga buaya kaayong dako.

way delicadeza si General Abu. sabagay niliwat pud siya sa iyang commander in chief. Buaya sad.
