Default Fil-Am guy here looking to practice Bisaya/Cebuano.

Fil-Am guy here looking to practice Bisaya/Cebuano.

My family is from Central Luzon but I grew up in the States. I am looking for someone who could help me practice my Bisaya. I understand about 40% of conversations in Bisaya, but I need more practice to form complete sentences. If anyone is interested in making friends by speaking Bisaya, I would gladly welcome it.

Looking forward to speaking with you.

or try to join a group here in istorya, like the tennis club, badminton club, shih tzu club, arachnids, psp gathering club etc. whatever sparks your interest and then you can meetup with them during their gatherings and enjoy friendly conversation about something that you enjoy talking about

you can try reading some visayan-english dictionaries first to harness your vocabulary on the different terms and meanings of the visayan words...

Once you can grapple the words.. then that'll be the time you can perhaps practice the words to someone who can assist you on doing a friendly and nice chats...

It doesn't take a kid to learn visayan as it is the 2nd most spoken word, I guess next to tagalogs...

In fact all you have to do is go out around the city and find a nice buddy who you can make friends with and converse with him on the language... Im pretty sure there are wonderful and warm loving cebuanos and cebuanas that would gladly volunteer in helping you with your cause.....
