The Samsung Galaxy Tab finally has a successor in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The second Android-based slate from Samsung was announced today at Mobile World Congress, giving Samsung its own answer the Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets being released by competitors.

that's one thing the article mentioned... it better be a deal breaker
or it ain't worth it no matter how good the specs would be

currently the 7" Galaxy Tab is 16,000 with a 24 month contract for a SmartGOLD 1,500/month unlimited data plan. available for 4,000 if
you go with the 2,000/month unlimited data plan. FREE with plan
3,000 and up.

but on one hand.. the 7" tab is somewhat pocketable... or at least
fits in a small bag. not sure how a 10" device would do as a mobile
phone replacement.

Hmm finding it hard to make calls with my TAB except when i am at home. You need to have an unlimited mobile plan in order to enjoy the benifits of this device though I was just lucky i was able to avail of Smart's sinulog promo and got the device free with the 2000 unlimited data plan.. Hopefully when this device comes out they will have a similar promotion

Correction lng Sir, it was 29K when it was release here in Cebu, Philippines. And now it drops down to 26K
