Hi all, I am a noob here...I am planning to buy a new android phone. A friend of mine is selling a brand new 16g Samsung Galaxy S for 25k..Is it worth it?

I am also torn between HTC Desire HD and Samsung Galaxy S.. WHich should I buy?

Hey there! I suggest you purchase a brand new HTC Desire (P21,000), however, don't purchase a HTC Desire HD as the battery life is horrible. The battery that comes with the device is a lot less compared to the HTC Desire when in fact the Desire HD sports a larger display.

Nonetheless, if you have patience, I suggest you wait for a number of new phones coming in the next few months especially those dual core phones such as the LG Optimus X2 and the new Samsung Galaxy S II.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I saw the Galaxy Ace, I kinda don't like the small memory but price is really good. I was thinking of either HTC DHD or the Samsung Galaxy S. My company has a Samsung Galaxy S 16 g for sale at 25k. The thing Im worried about is it has no flash and I want to ask if 25k is a good deal. For the DHD, I kind of dont like the super big screen.

Im really confused. please enlighten me.

I beg to disagree, I happen to have the desire before selling it and getting the desire HD. mas gamay ang capacity sa HD pero ang battery life more or less pareha ra. and the reason I sold my desire is because of its internal memory. 140MB+ lang ang available. sige lang kahurot ang imo memory. custom roms with apps2sd hacks affects the speed of ur phone esp. class 4 or below imo card.

if you need a phone now get the HD.
