Asus has a full line of video cards running from the entry level up to high-end offerings that cost big bucks. The company is also a huge and popular maker of mainboards and other components that PC gamers and enthusiasts love. The latest video card from Asus is the new NVIDIA GT 440 video card aimed at the lower end of the gaming spectrum.
The new video card uses Super Power Alloy tech, which claims to be able to keep the video card 35C cooler just because of the metal that the caps, chokes, and MOSFETs are made from. The parts also claim to extend the life of the card by 2.5 times. The card also uses a special Asus cooling fan that has anti-dust tech to keep the fan and heat sink clean and running as cool as possible.
The card slips into PCI-E 2.0 slot and has an engine clock of 822MHz. It packs in 1GB of GDDR5 RAM clocked at 3200MHz and has 96 CUDA cores. The memory interface of the card is 128-bit. Connectivity includes HDMI, DVI, and D-sub. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
