I'd like to set up a server one for mysql and other for Apache...been reading about the Raid configurations, but I'm still clueless. Anyone know if mysql should be as equally powerful as the apache server or which one will require more resources or HD space.

Planning of 2 - 3 GB Ram for each. Dual Opteron (dual core) and 4 SATA 500 GB for each. I will allow photo uploading. So where to put the image server is another issue: on apache or mysql?
