maki-singit lang ko.. hehe i think ang mga difference/s:
appearance-wise: brilliant ang finish sa a custom mastersound (bottom cymbal kay naay hammered grooves for fast and clear 'chick' sound); traditional finish for new beat (bottom hat weighs heavier, making the signature new beat sound).
sound-wise: i think it's 'personal'.. and puro mana hi-end ang duha ka hi-hats, so both sounds great! and can be used in many styles. but as fas as i know, a custom mastersound is developed with the assistance of Vinnie Colaiuta (source: Musician'sfriend.com); for new beat, drummers like vic meracado of bamboo use this.

yes bro..in addition lng mas defined and stick sound sa new beat hats..mas tam.is ug chick sound sa mastersound..both are really great cymbals and are used by great drummers..my mastersound is used by vinnie colaiuta and simon phillips before..im also thinking of getting new beats =)..thnx for the up bro's!
