    Default debating between canon eos 1000d and 450d. please enlighten me hehe

    guys, i'm planning to buy a dSLR and im a beginner so these two caught my attention. hehe. ask lang ko bah unsae difference nila aside from the # of megapixels? is the 450D worth the money bah or should i go with 1000D? naa pd ni silay macro mode? i tried searching and comparing them but i only noticed the difference in megapixels and number of bits ug katong spot metering, i guess.

    i'm thinking that if i get 450D, i won't think about upgrading just as much cguro hehe

    any suggestions or comments about this? eheh your reply is highly appreciated

    My input will be based on the choices you gave. Anyway, I'm sure someone else will offer another brand after this post.

    Get the EOS 450D. Everything else in 450D is better than the 1000D. The only reason why you want to get the 1000D is because of its cheaper price.

    "i'm thinking that if i get 450D, i won't think about upgrading just as much cguro hehe" - well if you don't need higher ISO capability, faster focusing, faster frame rate, video and full frame, then you have no need to buy a higher canon model. The 450D is light, 12mp, 14 bit, decent ISO for indoors and good noise handling.

    simply 450D is better than 1000D on all aspects, yun lang....

    @macro
    you need a dedicated lens/extension tube, dli na pareha sa point and shoot nga imo ra i-dial to macro setting.

    if youre thinking about getting serious in photography as a hobby or have the gut feel that you will be, kung maaford go for the highest model that you can afford, kung 450d ang makaya, go! if kaaford pajud 500 or 550 or 60d go!

    thanks sa mga nireply

    @arisarnado: yep, that's why naglibug ko kae murag gamay ra difference, but now i'm leaning on buying 450D XD one of the terms na wa nako nasabtan kae ang spot metering(i think wala ni siya sa 1000D)

    mga bro, unsa pd advantage sa 500D over 450D?

    i'm a 1000d user and if given a choice between the two, i would go for the 450d... one of the reason i choose 1000d was because mao ra ako nakaya during the time i bought my cam.. but then again, 1000d has never failed me and being a newbie, i am happy with the output it produces..

    I have the 450D and with the exception of its ISO 1600 limit (which is unbearably noisy), I love it. Spot metering is very important especially when you learn how to manually expose using the Zone System. Don't think about it for now, I started with aperture priority myself and matrix metering until I learned how to go full manual (pati focusing, manual, ha ha).
