Gaming Monitor and if applicable, TV use

Hi guys,

Sensya di ko swito ug tech specs regarding monitors although ni try ko ug basa, daghan ra jud kaau bantayonon na samot na nuon ko maglibog.
Search was also useless, kay puro sa buy and sell section mugawas and other topics are just years old.

Ask unta ko sa inyong suggestions lalo sa mga knowledgeable jud. Gift unta nako ni sa ako sarili karon Xmas!

Ako requirements/ganahan:
1. Nindot for gaming, but also good for watching TV and viewing series/movies
*Gamer ko pero not sa latest games jud, adik kog HON for one. Aside from that, I watch a lot mao impt pud ang video display.

2. Pwd ko mo go either:
a. Tipid - 5-8k
b. Reasonable - 9-12k
c. Maka-purdoy - 13-15k
*I know subjective jud ni.. sensya sa ako standards kung poor ra para ninyo.

3. Basig mga 22-28".
If di kaya sa budget, just tell me what fits.

4. At least 720p pero preferably jud 1080p. Sunod sa uso.
USB3 is not a requirement at all but would be a great plus!

5. Basta smooth ra jud nga maka notice jud gani ka sa difference.
Pag mudula ko sa ako laptop and sa net cafe with a nice monitor, ma notice ra jud nimo ang difference sa fluidity. (Mas fluid tong sa net cafe). My graphics card is not bad either. I think it was Radeon 4850 so more than capable sha for HON.

Also, I hate ug highly pixelated display... mangluod ko tanaw sa mga naka display sa mall (lalo super big displays) then maklaro na gani ang pixels. Not sure if sa monitor ba jud, or bati lang ang quality sa salida.

I think naa nmn daghan nga FULL HD TV nga cheaper. pero if ganahan jud ka og nindot na display. Samsung nlng jud. but with ur budget dili jd xa ka2ng dagko.

look for a 22" LCDTV fits ryt sa imu budget ug purpose.. used a samsung LA22B350.. connected cable for TV shows, DVD for movies and PC for my CAD and sometimes gaming.. although d cya full HD but it serves me well.

ayaw lcd tv. it's designed to be viewed at a distance. not close up.

i could noticed some blurry text on my 42" tv. but for the gaming, it's perfect.

it's too big! i could not get a comfortable seat sa sala playing games.
too few people could watch at my 22"lcd computer.
it's something you should consider.
go you want play sa sala or at the comfort of your computer?

i do suggest to get a 22" to 24" that is beautiful to look at like samsung.
if you're a spec freak, then look at each brand and check why they are good.

tnx sa inyo gi share, mas nice jud nang info with experience kesa specs ra. LED jud ang recommended sa ako mga migo sa davao.

Dili sha pang sala type, more like monitor ang gamit niya since sa ako room ra butang ang duol ra sa ako nawong. Happy New Year!

samsung p2250 ok kaayo og barato nalang ni ron...bx2250 and LED nga version og i think mas mahal og dyutay but surely falls within the 9k to 12k range.

px2370 is one of the best but maka purduy jud

by the way, LCD/LED TV ba imong gusto sa imong gi ingon nga "watching TV and viewing series/movies" or monitor lang jud unya sa computer lang ka watch og movie/tv?

anyway, samsung p2250 akong gamit ron, very satisfied ko for both gaming and movie aspects...
