There was a time when movies based on real life massacres or killings were made, some of them even blockbusters.
Let's start with 1993's The Vizconde Massacre Story (God Help Us!)

What do you think of this once popular genre of Pinoy flicks? Should filmmakers here in Cebu do such films?
Heck, someone can make a movie about the local actor who got shot dead by a barangay tanod.

Kris Aquino was once dubbed as "The Massacre Queen" I'm not sure how many massacre movies she had made. But I know that she did the "Elsa Castillo" I don't think that this can be classify as "massacre" but it was another horrid and bloody movie. Also it was a true to life story, mao yata ni ang gi chop-chop na girl.
