Default Who to blame the PH Government or the Filipinos

seriously when something goes wrong everyone open fires at the government like its a free for all. When the government does something mediocre things like make a 1 week holiday and give some bunoses everyone bites and forgives! !@#@#$2 O_o duh....

Corruption in the PH isn't being made worst by the government, the root cause of it is the peolple, people here have adopted the corrupt way of life, "since everyone is doing it why not" so i dont see why anyone even has the right to say that the government is corrupt. oh and not listing everything for your income tax report is also corruption... ayaw pa lusot dira nga wala kay gi buhat na corrupt.

The "People" is an all-too vague and all-encompassing term. Yes some Filipinos are lazy and dishonest and would take advantage of their neighbors whenever an opportunity presents itself, but many are also honest and hardworking and simply want a decent and comfortable life for themselves and their family. Now this is also true to those working in the government (elected or appointed). The difference is that when an ordinary citizen commits a blunder only a few are affected and hence only a few would blame him/her, while if such blunder is committed by those in a position of power, many would be affected, and consequently many would blame the government official. Anyway, my point is that blame should neither be directed against the People nor the Government, but to individuals, and if such individuals happen to be in the Government then naturally the blame is greater because as trite as it may sound, great power comes with great responsibility.
