Sorry to burst your bubble but I think there are some people trying to ban/prohibit the use of lantakas/bogas aside from firecrackers this year:

As proposed, a “lantaka” should not exceed one meter in height and three inches in diameter.

A nice boga can be made using just 30 inches length of PVc Pipe with a 2 diameter hole.

I have one in luzon. Wanted to bring it here in cebu 2 years ago but LBC won't ship it hehehe! Still trying to fin a way to bring it here for the New Year.

30 inches with a 2 inch diameter wide hole PVc performs well na.

I'll post pics of the Boga my Cousin made for us New yaer of 2006...and 3 years later last New Year 2009 it's still working Saved us a lot of money from buying firecrackers.

I'll post pics of it when my rother sends the pics.

Apologies for it took a while hehehe!

    Anyway eh here it is

    Astig ano hehehe!

This guy turned a lot of heads when we were trying it out. Itsura pa lang oks na hehehe!

I like it when it fires, you can feel the gun kicking back due to the blast. It's quite loud too. Scarred me a little when I tried the first time last New year of 2006. Still in working condition.

Tried it last December 4 still a head turner and makes a very load bang!

    PS

My gun has the features of the large boga the guy in the youtube video has

    - the "lata" inside the PVC
    - the igniter
    - the unscrewable end for easy reload of the "ammunition".

All of these features were in my boga 4 years ago na heheh!

here's a picture of the back end. Screwed/Closed.

    Opened/unscrewed and ready for reload.
