Okay, I have a lot of questions regarding Physical Therapy in Silliman University. I currently live in Florida, USA and I'm totally lost, I don't know where to start. I'd love to go to Silliman but I know little about registering there. I went on their website but it didn't say much. Now, my only chance is to ask Sillimanians and/or people that know much about the program PT in SU.
QUESTIONS:
1) Will I have time to apply? (Registration, SUAPE Admission?, and College Entrance Exam for Physical Therapy) I'm going back to the Philippines around first week of May 2011. So basically I have a month. And I still need to find an apartment within a month since I don't really feel like staying in a dorm.
2) I heard I have to go there personally to hand in the paperwork. Is there any other way I can turn in the application and such?
3) I go to college now. I started in January 2009. I'll be done with my prerequisites for AS Physical Therapy this month. So I thought about going back to the Philippines to continue my studies there, but will my credits get transferred? Also, USA's grading system is totally different from Philippine's grading system. And there's this question on the application asking for my last grade in English, Math, and (I think) Science. I do know A= 90-100 B=80-89 C= 70-79 and so forth, but my school doesn't specify the grade. So what should I put?
4) For the Entrance Exam for PT, is there a reviewer book? Or we just take the exam without reviewing?
5) How much is it per semester? Books? Miscellaneous fee?
6) How much is it living in a dorm? And the cost for an apartment?
7) I read one of the replies that Physical Therapy students don't wear uniforms?
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me with my endless questions.
