I was browsing through my old posts and came to this topic unfortunately when I tried to make a reply it says that it's been more than 120 days since the last reply... it suggested to start a new topic.
And so here, let me just quote what other people said from the old topic:
Glassmoon:
You can love without hoping.....
You can hope without loving.....
Yet if the two is made, it would be a seed that is in your heart which is to bloom in to a full grown life of togetherness.......

loving is hoping. love that is bereft of hope is despair (and perhaps suicide) in the making.
it is inherent in love to be reciprocated... 'unconditional' love is a romantic's utopia; unattainable as even they, the romantics, cry because of a broken heart.
hope is what drives love to continue; a bridge from the 'now' and the 'later'. it pushes us, as it does with everything else, to take a step forward with the thought that it may bode well. it makes us continue to give out our hearts to the someone we have chosen to give it to, with the wish that they can see us and give theirs in return...
love without hope is stagnant. it is soul-less. it lacks the color, the joy, the life that hope brings...
yes, hope is another adaptive mechanism that pushes us to do the things a rational person sometimes refuses to do so, and hope, in so many instances have served to be humanity's last bullet in a battle of hopeless desolation that nature (and sometimes called 'fate') hurls in our direction.
... and yes I agree... hope is the life of love. Where we say LIFE is its energy.
