Music Scene in Moalboal??

I'm moving to Moalboal for a month or two. Anybody know if there are music venues with live bands playing there?

Why? That's a long drive from there to here in the city.

Just want to live in another area for a while. I rented a place on the beach for a month or two so I can check it out. But holy crap, it's gonna be tough finding anybody to play with. Mostly divers there, I heard. Think I'll try Negros after that and see what's going on there. Sounds crazy, huh?

Not really. It's healthy to stay out of the city once in a while. They say it's good for the musician's soul.

Thank you for the supportive words Glassmoon. I heard recently that there is a place called Roxy's that has some kind of "jam night"... Guess I'll start there. I won't be leaving here til the end of July. Maybe we can hook up before then - vince

Not really a bad idea. I heared there is someplace in moalboal which people hang out at night, I forgot the name though but I'll see what I can do bout that. I'll just keep you updated then.
