3.) Jogging pants or shorts - anything nga maka bikangkang comfortably.
4.) Extra shirt - kay pwede na mapuga ang singot sa t-shirt inig pa-uli na.
5.) no need for shoes kay mag tiniil ra.
if you feel any illness, pain, broken bones, wounds, etc. please feel free to approach the coaches para maka-assist sila sa inyu during training.

Movement in and around the roda (pronounced ho·duh) is crucial to a well played game of Capoeira. Positioning is about 95% of the game, the other 5% is a well placed, well timed kick. Oftentimes one will find that their kicks are very swift in practice, however it is movement in the roda that will give those kicks meaning.

Basic Movement:

Ginga (Sway)
This is the main "stance" in Capoeira

Esquiva (Escape)
An esquiva is an evasive maneuver utilized to move away from an incoming kick.

Negativa
Negativa is a movement done on the ground where one leg is out and the otherleg is supporting the body.

Cocorinha
Cocorinha can be compared to a crouch, where the body is tightly packed to the ground in a sitting position. From the cocorinha position, you can do an infinite number of combinations on the ground to follow up your opponent's kick.

Capoeira Kicks - Circular kicks are very common in Capoeira. Most of the kicks are deceptive, hidden or unpredictable especially for non-capoeirista.
