The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) is a 2009 Swedish crime thriller film adaptation of the novel of the same name by the late Swedish author/journalist Stieg Larsson, the first book in his Millennium Trilogy, directed by Niels Arden Oplev. By August 2009, it had been sold to 25 countries outside Scandinavia, most of them planning a release in 2010, and had been seen by more than 6 million people in the countries where it was already released.[3]
The film was released in the United States on March 19, 2010 by Music Box Films, which will also release the second and third films in the trilogy, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, later in 2010.

Nice movie..I think out napud ang The Girl who Played with Fire...
Medyo mysterious ang character na si Lisbeth...wala man gud gpakita iya background aside that she's a hacker and on probation...

A good series..no wonder there's a Hollywood remake..but I don't think remake is necessary, basin mapangit ra pagka buhat...
After watching The Girl who Played with Fire and The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest, it's clear to me kung kinsa jud si Lisbeth Salander...
Good movie..two thumbs up
