if changing data cables doesnt fix the problem.. consider it as defective drive. but karon ra ko kadungog nga mo white screen ang computer if there is optical drive read problems.. mostly, mo hangup man ang computer.

could you check other components?

naa ko ingon ana nga problem b4 same samsung na combo drive.. it started off a bad burn/write after 2 days of use mao nahitabo ako dayun g uli dn ilis lite-on combo.

For me, bug-at na kaau imong PC. Try kuno ug format or clean.

BTW, unsa man ang specs ana kai encounter ko ingon ani basta hinay ang pc mo ingon ini jud.. Samot na ug dali dalion nimo ug click, mo hang jud.

just changed SATA cables pero wa gihapon..

pag sud nakog DVD, ni RED ang screen unya naay diagonal lines.. tsk..
