Microsoft will open an office here in cebu which I guess its underconstruction right now in the heart of IT Park.. but for sure its not for development but for sales, trainnings and seminars as well as its own regional office.

I think the criteria should be.. how is it like working in those companies? the work environment? the compensation? the benefits? the all-in-one package that most of the prefessionals are looking for.. di ba mas klaro on who is the best?

@all: Dugay naman Microsoft diri. They put up a "facade" company with another name (murag Microsouth something something). Of course, I may be wrong as my former boss Erick Olavides, who works with Microsoft Philippines, did not confirm or deny it but his tone of voice was revealing . They were hiring and firing like mad (you know Microsoft, if you underperform, you're out) but when they stopped hiring and I saw their satellite office in Metrobank, my assumptions I guess were true. I think Microsoft would be a good company to work with. I heard the salary's top-notch too (nakapalit ug balay ug 4WD ako boss). They can afford it You just need to be passionate about their technology and their vision. And makes sure you don't fall to their bottom 5% come performance evaluation (although dili ko sure kung tinuod pa ba ni but the frequency by which they hired and fired makes me believe it's still a business practice at MS para pirmi naa spirit of competitiveness didto). Kung bata bata pa ko, ganahan gani ko balhin pero tiguwang nako plus nag-promise ko na last employer na ni NEC nako kay ganahan dyud ko magbusiness and be my own boss.
