I don't know if any of you have already heard of this, but it's been making rounds on the net lately, and for good reason:
Firesheep In Wolves’ Clothing: Extension Lets You Hack Into Twitter, Facebook Accounts Easily
Basically, even your 7 year old can now hack into anyones Facebook/Twitter (and also 40+ other sites that don't use TLS/SSL in their sessions). At major risk are people connecting via unsecured wifi. I'm not so sure if it works if you are connected to the same secured wifi network (WPA or WEP).
Now, I'm not so sure if i want to use my iPod touch when going to facebook on an unsecured access point.
has anyone tried it? i've already installed it, but haven't had the time to test it outside.
