Series 5 Samsung LCD TV wont detect my PC

I am trying to use my 40" Series 5 Samsung LCD TV as my monitor, pero when I connect my VGA Cable, ang PC option as source is "Greyed Out".

I looked it up online and I found this Solving the Samsung HDTV “PC input is greyed out” Problem The PCTVCables.com Blog

When I tried it this morning, wala gihapon. It still did not let me select PC as the source.

Kinsa lain naka try ani? Unsa inyo suggestion para ma solve ni siya?

BTW, ang TV is already out of warranty. I tried calling Samsung about this problem nya ingon sila nga basin ang cable ang problema, pero I tried using the Cable with my LCD Projector, nya ok raman.

Any ideas before I pay Samsung to look into this for me?

unsay specs sa imo PC bos basin di kaya ang resolution sa imo PC
try hdmi cable if you have vcard for that

are you adding a 2nd monitor? have you tried to change the settings sa imo PC? basin ug naka configure ra pod siya ug isa ra ka monitor wala naka extended desktop or clone display.

naturally, wala jud signal so greyed out. try checking your PC's settings.

Ok mn tnan saksakan bro, hdmi 1 or 2(w/ video card) or k2 sa VGA na saksakan luyo sa tv mo display mn jpn.

nag trouble shoot pd ko gabii sa sony nako nga hdmi, akong cable kay sa cdrking na hdmi, na detect na sa pc ang lcdtv, na wala na pd sa sony ang signal not detected but black screen lng sa hdmi.... basin sa cable ni noh?
