Yes, ang default ng 2007 Office is .xlsx, apan you can save your file on Excel 1997-2003 and other formats. Backward compatible sya bai. The Office suite have "x" at the end of their extensions. Ex. .docx, .pptx, .xlsx, etc.
Syempre, use genuine Microsoft software. 2007 Office is intended to work with Windows Vista, pero it also works with Windows 2003.

2007 Office and Windows Vista, I believe, are the next generation products of Microsoft. In time, mostly everyone on earth will be using them. XP and Office 2003 will be old news. Did you know that computers coming out to the market now and mostly Vista ready?
