    Unhappy Guiseppe, near Ma. Luisa Park, BAD experience


    Guiseppe, Italian restaurant, near Maria Luisa park, Banilad

    This post is not related to food quality, but related how you are treated there.

    We are living in Maria Luisa Park, ordering since years food from them and pick it up when its ready.
    Yesterday, my wife went there to pickup food we ordered, I gave her 1000 pesos.
    She came back, crying. I ask her whats up? She said that the new cashier there told her that she only paid 500 pesos (she had only a 1k pesos note, so how could she pay with a 500p note?).
    She complained, witness was my son, and even one of the employees said that it was a 1k pesos note given to the cashier.
    My wife wanted of course the 500p change from the 1k pesos back. The new cashier denied.
    Then the owner came, an Italian, and only told my wife "get out, get out, or I call the guard".
    So, my wife went home, told me what happen.
    I went there, confronted him, he paid the 500p back. I asked him "what is going on here, we are customer since years, and you threat my wife like she's lying?". He only said "You mean the cashier is lying?". He refused to discuss it with me.
    I then got my 500p, turned around and only said that I will never ever order anything from them.
    This Italian is a little crazy, how can he threat customer like that? What he think is is?
    During the time there, the new cashier was hiding.

    So people, be aware of how this Italian threat customer. The food might be good, but the owner should better go back to from where he came.

    I am VERY disappointed about this, and will warn all my friends here NOT to go there anymore.

    There is something missing here. If the Italian really believe his cashier, he wouldn't have returned to you the 500. It has been a long while since I ate there. The food is good, but I felt it wasnt worth the price, the service wasnt that good. The last time I went there, I wasnt able to get a seat as they were full. But they didnt care nor did they give me an idea if we could wait. They just told me, we are full. In other restaurants, they are willing to accept waitlists and give you an idea when a table may become available. So I am not surprised why you got the bum end of their arrogance.

    Dont they have surviellance camera? cause if they do then you better ask them to review it.. And was these restaurant located in Signal trading BLdg? I use to come there at Gustavian and butcher shop and havent notice Guiseppe..

    He paid the 500 back after the customers are looking and listening whats going on.

    Update today:
    They came to my house, and formal apologized.
    The manager told me that after they close last night, their cash matched the sales, so the cashier made definitely a mistake or was lying.
    After all, I got my 500PHP back, and they apologized, so I can forget this bad day now.
