Do you think pirated softwares should be banned from the market?

Well, one thing is for sure, I DONT THINK SO

I use pirated programs for my computer

They are cheaper than original ones and works as good as the original ones.

Havent you tried asking yourself, why is it that counterfeit or pirated goods are always banned in any civilized market/society?

Kung ato pa na gi-allow(legalized) dire...unsa kaha reaction sa US or any developed countries no? makig trade kaha sila nato? naa kahay pinoy nga maka-sulod sa ila nasud as tourist or contract worker? do you think makapalit or maka-utang ta nila or motabang sila nato kung mangayo ta ug tabang nila?

sige man gyud ka gamit ug pirated software...tingali one of these days maka buhat ka ug application nga nindot. imo gibaligya sa imo kaila. Nahalin tuod ug pananglit 500pesos! Now, ang imo kaila, nakita niya nga useful kaayo imo application...iya gikopya kay naa man siya CD-burner. Nagkopya siya ug 10,000 kabuok. Then gibaligya niya sa mga dealers dinha sa SM,Ayala,Colon...etc. Gibaligya niya ug tag 100pesos kada CD. Unya kay nindot kaayo ang imo application...daghan kaayo namalit kay barato ra...tag 100 ra gud. So ang imo kaila nag kopya na pud ug another 10,000 copies...barato ra gud!!!

so naka kwarta ka ug 500pesos tungod sa imo kahago(days/hours of thinking in front of you PC)...500pesos flat!!!
your kaila...only copied your application which he bought for 500pesos...but sold 20,000 copies at 100pesos per copy
so naka kwarta imo kaila ug pila? 20,000x100=2,000,000 pesos

unya ikaw 500pesos lang!!!

so...ganahan pa ka himo ug lain nga nice application?

should be banned jud na kung pangwarta na thats crazy pero for personal lang ang copy like selfstudy wa man siguroy probs ayaw lang lagi ipangwarta

this is one way of looking at things selfishly. but if you looked at it on the other side, would you want it? like what leo_trams mentioned. If you were the developer, and it's your only source of income, what would you feel? notice some developers are afraid of releasing their softwares cuz of fear they might not reap what they sow? less local developers == dependent of foreign products. time will come that a strong anti-piracy program will be implemented and since wala na kau local developers. looy kau ta, mapugos na jud ta ug palit sa mahal.

admit ko, piracy (in terms of software, apps) has done more good to the masses. one reason why most people became computer literate since 3rd world countries like ours couldn't basically afford the standard market prices.

and btw, did you know that piracy fuels anti-gov/terrorist groups?

what querry is this-> will pirated software copies be banned or not? = just like youre asking, will a fake medicine be good to your health or not?

come on, bootleg copies are very no good so obviously its not accepted in legalities. one doesnt need to explain why.

I totally agree with leo_trams. Halos tanan mga softwares naa man cguro'y Lite edition, Personal learning edition, Student Edition or other edition nga free/cheaper nga pwede mapractisan. Kana nalang diay? For me I go for Open Source kung mag-develop ko og softwares like EcpliseIDE. Limpyo pa ang akong consensya.
