    Default Mirrorless Interchangeable Camera here!

these camera system is pretty new and not so many users out there.
so if you are one user, you can tell everybody why do anybody want a mirrorless interchangeable/or EVIL/or hybrid/ interchangeable Point and shoot or whatever fancy name you want to call it.
Let's discuss questions like 'Why would one buy it over a point and shoot or over a DSLR?'
what is the future of this system ? how does it stack up on image quality? will it replace DSLRs? For whom is this camera intended? cost, lens... etc etc.

    Examples:
    Olympus PEN
    Sony NEX
    Samsung NX
    Panasonic G mirrorless

I own one and i'm definitely enjoying the experience with it. (Samsung NX10)

For me I like the compact body and the versatility of these cams. Tried one (Sony NEX) and the images was great. First time its kinda weird holding it cause got used to holding bulk (D3s, D700's bodies) bodies.

Maybe in a couple of years I think I would buy one but not now for its quite new tech.

yes, the main advantage of these mirrorless cams is the size. since it has no mirror box. the body is thinner and the lens is closer to the sensor. so no mirror box, less moving parts, less chances of mechanical failure IMO. the samsung model i have is also noticeably quieter than a dslr..
I just "upgraded" from a Nikon D50/70 and i'm experiencing both the disadvantage and advantages of using such camera. Im definitely enjoying the advantages of it.

    the micro four thirds.

good weight and size but my big hands got used with the bulky ergonomics of a standard dslr.

    i have the Samsung NX10 14Mp

Samsung NX10 Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review

    The features i liked:

    -manual Kelvin White Balance
-3" AMOLED screen, very high contrast, black is real black.
    -bracketing (Exposure,WB,picturewizard bracketing)
-many auto-focus points around 143 points (of course Contrast-detection only, not as fast as a DSLR)
-top notch build quality, feels very solid
-HD video recording with AF with high MP4 compression
-high resolution EVF, with lots of shooting information

kit lens comes with a lens hood, lens is ultrasonic type with stabilization range is 18-55mm. it is internal focusing and front element doesn't rotate. so it's good for filters (58mm size, common in canon)
