Default Bank to Bank transfer or Paypal? Which is faster and more cost effective?

HI! I don't know if this is in the right section in the forum.

Right now, I am working from home. My employer is asking me how I would like to be paid.
Through paypal or through a direct wire transfer bank to bank?

I asked many banks but they have no definite responses as to how much ang charges. I know that the bank where they deposit the money charges and also my bank also charges. but how much?

It will be a fair amount of money every month and I'm not sure if I want it through paypal because Paypal has very low conversion rates and then it is tedious if I transfer hefty amounts.. like their money laundering act that prevents you from transferring certain amounts.... etc.

Can anyone please help give their opinion on which is better? faster? cheaper? thanks!

i think best bet is paypal maabot pa nimo ang money dayon...ang bank transfer mao raman cguro ang gawas kai tungod sa kadaghan sa fees just like here in US if we will send using xoom.com gamay ghapon ila conversion same sa paypal but kung dako ang padala mas makasave ka noon ug wire transfer kai one time fees raman any amount...

paypal charge 4-6% of the total amount sent

Bank Transfer is much safer since you open an account and your employer just made a deposit
    to your account.

charges usually ranges from US$ 35 to 45. but you can make an agreement with your employer
that who will pay for the charges.

You can ask your employer to shoulder all charges
or You can ask your employer to shoulder Half of the charges and the other Half will be yours.

Much better is dollar pay check to be send via express courier and all you have to do is to
open a foreign currency bank account so you can deposit it.

what company did you work in the online ?

kung bayaran ka sa imong employer through paypal, mahimo nag paypal funds unless imong ewithdraw sa imong bank

if imong ewithdraw sa imong bank, subject to paypal fees and bank fees na cya. so dli exact amount imong ma kuha.

ang akong paliton, ang imong paypal funds before nimo etransfer sa imong bank.

advantage when selling your paypal funds,
+ you avoid fees from paypal
+ you avoid low exchange rates from paypal
+ save you a lot of time (bank transfers can range up to 5-10 business days)
+ you get CASH in exchange of your paypal funds
+ you avoid your bank transfer rates
+ you avoid your bank service fees

    How about Alertpay?

It's just like paypal but I think they have lower fees. If you want to fund or withdraw from your e-currency account, just go to this trusted e-currency exchanger in the Philippines.
    Pinoy Gold Exchange

One way also is to get a debit card (Like this)since alertpay don't have bank transfers in philippines yet.
