Tour de Franz Events and Productions in cooperation with Sepia International Modeling Agency and The Cebu Provincial Tourism Department will stage the first Cebu Tropical Beauty Pageant, scheduled to be on December 11, 2010 – “The Grand Coronation Night”. Beforehand,
we will initiate a series of Socio-cultural and environmental activities with active involvement from our official candidates.
It helps, of course, that the pageant seeks to showcase the positive qualities and virtues of Cebuanas. The pageant envision to create role models out of its young and active participants .Far from being an ordinary event, Ms. Cebu Tropical Beauty is about promoting Cebuano cultural awareness and to bring out the best of Cebu for the entire world to appreciate. The crowned Ms. Cebu Tropical Beauty entails a great deal of responsibility in that one has to be role model to the youth. She has to be strong enough to stand and carry the banner Ms. Cebu Tropical Beauty and pursue the vision and mission of Tour de Franz Events and Productions.
To attain its goal, the pageant aims for nothing less than perfection. Aside from its stringent screening process where mere physical appearance is not enough to guarantee one's ticket to the competition, the pageant requires its contestants to attend extensive workshops and other personality development activities. Completing the grand production is a workaholic and creative team that pays attention to every pageant plan and details.
One of the activities that we have accomplished, so far, was the “CEBU TROPICAL BEAUTIES 2010 LAUNCHING” held last October 2, 2010 at the Crystal Hall, 6th Floor of The Crown Regency Hotel and Towers where our 14 lovely candidates showcased their instinctive gorgeousness and terrific body stature as they walked the ramps in their stunning swimsuits and fun wear.
The programme was also graced by different Media personalities in radio, television and newspapers. That night was also tendered by a tranquil acoustic band along with delightful vocals that made it more memorable.
Furthermore, we personally ask your support and involvement on this project as one of our patrons in the activities to come prior to the pageant and for the pageant itself.
In fact, one of the working team's goal is to make Ms. Cebu Tropical Beauty play a serious role in uplifting the lives of the less fortunate. As such, the pageant supports various charitable organization.Part of the program proceeds will be for financial aid to our chosen beneficiary, Catholic-run, charitable institution, The Holy Spirit of Freedom Community “HSFC” of Guadalupe, Cebu City on their Abandoned Street Kids Rescue and Outreach monthly feeding program. We have also set various activities concerning tropical environmental interest, tourism magnetism and social responsibility awareness.
Thus, the pageant apparently has more than just good looks and alluring bodies. Far from being just another glamorous event, Ms. Cebu Tropical Beauty does have a heart - and a very big one at that.
