Aside from being an actor, like being part of the cast of the top-rating action series
Imortal, Jomari Yllana is also busy with his work as a concert producer. He was behind the Manila shows of international acts like Kris Allen, David Cook, David Archuleta, Marie Digby, Usher, and John Mayer. After the press conference for Imortal,
PUSH.com.ph asked Jomari whom he planned to bring in next. He said, “
Sa totoo lang wala pa kaming naka-line up. But if I alone were to choose
kung sino ang gusto ko, si Justin Bieber.” Justin is a 16-year-old Canadian singer who had smash hits like “One Time,” “Baby,” and “Somebody to Love.”
Jomari was also asked to comment on the rumor that recently came out regarding John Mayer’s stay in Manila. A report claimed that John had trashed his hotel suite, but the management of the hotel quickly denied the incident had happened. Jomari commented, “
Hindi ko alam ‘yun. That I have to check, to confirm. But I don’t think it’s true
kasi hindi naman nakarating sa akin.”
Still Jomari is very thankful that John Mayer’s concert turned out to be a success. “

He also talked about his business partner for his concert production ventures, Representative Ronald Singson who is facing drug-possession charges in Hong Kong. The actor said that he will continue to do business with the controversial political scion and he has plans of visiting him in Hong Kong. “He’s okay. He is handling

Ever since Singson’s drug case broke out, Jomari had not had the chance to talk to his friend about the truth behind the controversy. Jomari preferred to wait for the time when they can seriously discuss the matter personally as good friends. “To tell you honestly

Gusto ko kapag magkausap kami, kinukulit ko lang siya, pinapatawa ko lang. Dumating man ‘yung time
na makaharap ko na siya dun ko lang siya makakausap about
sa nangyari sa kanya. Maganda kung harapan. Pero sa ngayon wala pang [chance].
Mabigat din naman ‘yung pangyayari. Ang hirap din naman mag-judge
ng tao. Kung tatanungin niyo ako kung alam ko ‘yung buong istorya, until now
hindi ko pa rin alam. Hintayin ko na lang kapag nagkita kami.”
