The Galeón Andalucía, a replica of a 17th-century Spanish merchant ship, will arrive in Cebu on the 13th of October, docking at the vicinity of the Aduana. The Cebu Provincial Government together with the Museo Sugbo will organize a series of events starting on the 14th of October. It has been reported that the ship will stay in Cebu until the 22nd of October, probably the longest time it will stay in the country.
Among the tentative activities that have been planned is a daylong lecture on Spanish influences in Cebuano culture. The galleon’s tentative visiting hours will be from 10 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 8 PM.
