Exclamation Online Payment --How would you do it?

Help ko mga Bradeer ug Sisteer.

I'm currently running a small business that at anytime could go big.
I want to put up an Online Payment option for all interested new members of my site.
How would you go about doing that?

Hopefully, naay mga experienced users dri na maka share sa ilahang, well, experience about the ins and outs or unsa na system ila gigamit. Like, sa mga admin dri sa istorya, how do you verify payments? what banks do you use? what banks offer merchant account services?

Also, as a side question ba, If you plan on putting up a service online, would you prefer to host it yourself? Or would you pay someone else to host it for you? What do you think are the pros and cons here?

Any answers or links to useful info is much appreciated.

i think depende sa imo main costumers, if Philippines, you should also include gcash, smartmoney, mlkwarta padala

following is a local website who accepts online payment. this might give u an idea.

if international, paypal is the easiest way to go about it. naa sad mga 3rd-party payment processor like FastSpring - Experience E-Commerce 2.0 - Payment and Merchandising Solutions for Downloadable Software and Services, Software Distribution and Marketing, Software E-Commerce and Payment Processing, and daghan pa na sila. but take note lang of the cut they will get.

Thank you tanan sa input. Dako na kaayo tong tabang, at least now I know which direction i could take.

We already looked into the paypal api. Sayon ra tuod, pero grabeh, dako ra kaayo silag cut, gamay ra kaayo mi ginansya ani amo negosyo and if amo i-agi ug paypal ma lugi nami. haha.

Anyways, amo market is only Philippines mn, for the time being. So, paypal isn't really the best choice for us. Sa UnionBank, naa daw silay merchant account pero wala pa jd namo ma sturyaan ug tarong, kay ang kasagaran sa mga taw d2 kay mag nga-nga ra nig pangutana about ani. XD

    Thank you again mga istoryans.

    EDIT:
    Also, Ms. Owrange.

that's from Buyanihan | Group Buying Philippines. if for local payments, u can check the online stores here sa istorya or sa multiply, u will learn from them how they collect payments.

i think if u want to open a merchant account sa banks so u can receive credit card payments, dapat naa ata ka initial savings/deposit sa ila nga 500,000. =) that's why cheaper if via paypal kay u don't need any initial deposits.
