push ups can develop the biceps to some extent so if those muscles are not yet "formed" then push ups can shape them. but then again, only to some extent.
be careful with crunches. be sure that your spine is strong enough for sustained strain. crunches exercise abdominal muscles -- to some extent -- but not guaranteed to give you a six-pack if that's what you mean by forming the body.
anyway, the FORM of the body is NOT important; health is. some people have six-packs but whose core muscles are relatively weak.
Push ups does NOT develop the biceps but develops the chest and tricep..
I agree with you..Push ups can only hit the chest and triceps in arms...in big percent...

but what really matters is your diet,eating the right food will really form your body
push ups mainly for triceps and to have an emphasized chest.

Additionally, don't do the same exercises everyday kai ma-anad imong lawas sa same exercises, di na ka maka.gain. Working the same groups everyday may also cause muscular atrophy (ma-wagtang ang muscles) kai tungod ma-strained ug maayu ang muscles.
Look for Body Weight Exercises if you are interested in working your body without dumbbells and barbells.
