FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE IS THE AIRPORT TERMINAL?
MANILA has four (4) airport terminals, located on four (4) different locations :
a) Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), also called Terminal 1 = for all international flights, except Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.
b) Centennial Airport, also called NAIA Terminal 2 = all international + domestic of Philippine Airlines only.
c) Terminal 3 = all international + domestic of Cebu Pacific, Air Philippines & PAL Express.
d) Manila Domestic Airport = flights of Seair and Zest Air airlines.
The other point of international entry is
CEBU, called Mactan International Airport.
This is directly serviced by the following Asean carriers: Silk Air (Singapore), Cathay Pacific (Hongkong), Cebu Pacific / China Airlines (Taipei), Pal (Narita), PAL /Cebu Pacific (Seoul) and Malaysian Airlines (KUL & Kota Kinabalu).
CLARK Airport, in Northern Luzon, also serviced by low cost carriers like Tiger Airways and Air Asia.
LAOAG Airport, in Northern Luzon, is mainly used for charter flights to/from China & Taipei.
DAVAO, City, on the southern island of Mindanao, Silk Air flies to Singapore
HOW FAR IS IT FROM ONE AIRPORT TO THE OTHER (Manila)?
NAIA is located ca. 7 km south of the main tourist area Ermita/Malate and ca. 7 km of the main business area Makati.
The Manila Domestic airport is ca. 3 km away from NAIA.
The Centennial Airport is located between NAIA and the Domestic airport at ca. 1 km east of NAIA.
Terminal 3 is ca. 0.7 km from Manila Domestic airport.
However, to get from one airport to another is expressed in time rather than in kilometers, due to permanent traffic congestion. To get from International Terminal 1 or 2 to Manila Domestic Terminal can take up to one (1) hour ! And from Terminal 3 to Manila Domestic Terminal will take a half hour. We therefore recommend at least one (1) hour time allowance.
CAN I GET TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TERMINALS?
A regular air-conditioned metered taxi from the international – to the domestic airport generally cost around Php 100 per ride one way. However, only taxis with set fares (called “coupon taxi”) are allowed to service the airports, for a fixed rate of Php 300.
No airport shuttle bus services are offered.

WHEN I CLICK ON BOOK NOW ON ANY FILIPINO TRAVEL CENTER PRODUCT OF MY CHOICE, DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE TO PAY ALREADY?
Not necessarily. To book is just to request for a reservation or inquire further based on your specific requirements. In fact, once you book, you are not automatically confirmed. Filipino Travel Center's Travel Consultant shall reply to your booking request for the status whether it is CONFIRMED,WAITLISTED, UNABLE TO CONFIRM or NOT AVAILABLE.
I GOT A REPLY FOR MY BOOKING AND THERE IS AN OPTION GIVEN, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
An OPTION is the deadline given by the supplier for you to purchase (pay) for your requested service. In other words, if your reply status was CONFIRMED, it can only be guaranteed confirmed for your actual use when you decide to pay for it on or before the OPTION date given. Once no purchase is made after the OPTION, your booking will automatically cancel and no confirmation is guaranteedshould you decide to rebook.
THE REPLY I GOT FOR MY BOOKINGS WAS "BOOK AND BUY". WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
"Book and Buy" is a term you may encounter for international tour packages only. This normally happens during super peak season when hotels are overbooked and their rooms are confirmed only upon pre-payment. In effect, our guests would have to make a non-refundable guarantee deposit once a booking is made. No OPTION is given already since once you decide to BOOK AND BUY , it's considered guaranteed confirmed and no refund is given for cancellation, whatever the reason may be.
In such cases, we suggest you get a Travel Insurance to protect your purchase when unforseen events occur.
