sorry for this stupid question... If the box on the motherboard or PSU only states that it supports ATI CROSSFIRE-X & doesn't mention Nvidia SLI... does this mean you can't use 2 Nvidia GPUs in SLI on this motherboard or PSU? or you actually can? since its just some licensing problem from the manufacturer?

If it doesn't state in the box and in the manual that it does support SLI then it doesn't support sli.

if you can post more details on the mobo, psu and or the gpu's that you will be using the you will have a very accurate and straightforward answer
