havent read but seen the documentation on national geographic. its worth reading though.judas is not that bad diciple.
its really not included in the Bible bcoz Judas has revealing statements which could confuse people regarding the church.
there s also the gospel of Mary Magdalene, and many more.too long to explain...watch it na lng.

it is actually a Gnostic writing. Gnostics were cults that plague Christianity during the first century. In fact, the apostles themselves refuted many of the teachings of these cult group in the Bible itself.

Imagine Reuben Ecleo to be a prolific writer of their PBMA group. He writes many things about Christ and His teachins but mixes with it his own perveted and warped ideas about Christ. Places his writings in a jar and sealed it.

Now, transport this back in time about 1700-2000 years. Coming back to our time, his writings would now become antique ancient writings. Archaologist discovers these writngs. Puts it on the headlines and BOOM!!! IT BECOMES A HIT.

    "A NEW DISCOVERY!!!! HEADLINES

But actually, if the truth were told, these are just one of the Gnostic writings of old which the apostles opposed in their writings in the Bible.

There are writings of the Gnostics that are still extant now. the gospel of Thomas is one.

But this book has not been sensationalized. Maybe because it's well-known already.

The truth: What we got in our Bibles [all 66 of its books] are the accurate and complete writings.

actually the correct term is who 'confirmed' or how did the early church 'recognize' what book was inspired or not.

The main criterion is that the writer must either be a prophet or an apostle or one who has been known to have close contact with the apostles of Christ.

they did not decide arbitrarily as to what book should be included, they merely recognized its inspiration. Their recognition did not make the books "inspired". The books inherently by itself were inspired. they just confirmed its inspiration.

ive read a couple of pages sa book didto sa bookstore, was trying really to buy the book, medyo mahal lang gyud siya pa..

anyways, the first few pages that Ive read , are really eye opener.. feeling nako naa gyud ka makuha or ma learn adto nya about how it was during that time .. pero not read the whole thing pa gyud and lots of phrases are missing gyud and we also have to consider how it was translated, the original document was written in aramaic and there are a few ppl on earth who can read and understand that language, pero i think its a book worth reading gyud.
