what do you mean putting xp OS to an external drive bai?..you mean the installer or the whole C:\ partition?

if it's the latter then you can use imaging software like Norton Ghost or PQ Image Center..al it does is create a snapshot image of your source drive so you can deploy it to your other drives [considering same disk size and file structure]

thanks sa idea, i used Norton ghost 8.2 (symmantic 10) with usb support. but requires at least 256MB memory (dapat no shared vram kay sometimes mo hang up.
