Default Solons insist on putting pictures and names on gov’t projects

Solons insist on putting pictures and names on gov’t projects - INQUIRER.net, Philippine News for Filipinos

MANILA, Philippines — Defying the order of President Benigno Aquino III, several lawmakers on Monday said they will continue to display their names and even photographs in projects funded by their priority development assistance fund (PDAF) or pork barrel for sake of transparency, and as one of them admits, for reelection purposes.

the congress is not a suicide cult. why would they ever pass a law that would be used against them?

para nako... pasagdi ng pictures oi! ang importante man ang project. Pero maybe add a stipulation that they can only put their faces in signs KUNG NAHUMAN NA ANG PROJECT!!! kung ongoing pa gani... dapat walay mga pictures ha!!!

tsk tsk maski ni ingon na ang DPWH/DILG na dili sila magbutangan ug names/pictures sa projects nila, there is no law (yet) preventing them from putting up signs/billboards with their name near projects , ngita gyud ug loophole ni sila, hopefully ma pass to ang bill ni either Miriam or Escudero na wala gyud public signs with a politician's name etc..
