How do i make our super red arrowana red again?

Hi guys, we have 3 super red arrowanas in our collection but after a year from its arrival here in the Philippines all three faded in color and right now (2 years after) they just plainly look like regular golden arrowanas. Unsay problema?

water niya bai.. mao na common problem sa mga fresh water fish.. if ang composition sa water dili mo match sa ila natural invironment.

so what should the water be? i have it slightly acidic, its ph is monitored. Any other factor i should look into? aside from shrimp and crabs, what other food can i offer na rich in carotenoids?

hmmm not so expert with this especially sa water pero i know that part of their diets are insects too
